These are exciting times for social business!
By Matt Collins, Marketing VP, IBM Collaboration Solutions and Social Business
The momentum around social business just continues to grow in all parts of the world. The activity this month illustrates that point perfectly. Today we are kicking off the Exceptional Web Experience with a conference in Austin, while our clients and colleagues will continue those discussions with seminars in Paris and at the Smarter Commerce Global Summit in Madrid this week. We're also hosting Business Gets Social Roadshows in Edinburgh and London, and talking about the value of social business at the Dachis Social Business Summit in Berlin. Jet lagged yet?
In addition to these great opportunities to meet face-to-face with customers and partners, you might have seen we made a few announcements this month:
- On May 1, we announced the next generation of Exceptional Web Experience offerings that will help our clients create an exceptional Web experience for their clients and employees by helping anticipate the needs of users, engage the individual and their community, deliver exceptional services -- while simplifying the experience. You can see numerous examples of customers who are providing exceptional web experiences and read the comments on our IBM Social Business Facebook page. You can also read how IBM Business Partners like Perficient and Sogeti are providing exceptional web experiences to their customers.
- And we also announced that IBM Connections Suite is the most comprehensive social solution bundle available today. With a single purchase, clients get an integrated user experience of social software, real-time unified communications, and robust document management. Companies like SXC are using this integrated approach to support a more productive workforce and deliver a first class client experience. The SXC solution included an integrated portal, unified communication and collaboration solution, allowing them to save thousands of dollars in meeting accreditation requirements, save time by delivering a single point of interaction using real-time collaboration, and meet regulatory requirements with secure document management and information sharing.
The saying is "April showers bring May flowers"... Our garden is definitely thriving! The success stories from our clients continue to grow and I would say let's stop to smell the roses, but I am afraid I might miss my next flight!
