As you may know, the first 50 IBM Champions for IBM Collaboration Solutions were welcomed to our program in June of this year. From now on, our IBM Champion nomination/selection period will coincide with our annual conferences, with nominations opening in the fall, and announcements made prior to our January Lotusphere and Connect conferences. Rather than wait an entire year to announce additional champions, we decided add a small set of individuals to the program now. For this 'bonus round', nominations were managed within IBM rather than opening up nominations to the public.
It is my pleasure to introduce our newest IBM Champions who will join the first 50 in representing the IBM Collaboration Solutions division! These individuals spend a considerable amount of time, energy, and resources evangelizing for IBM, sharing their knowledge and helping grow the community of users and business leaders focused on our solutions. As champions, they will receive an IBM Champion merchandise package (apparel and some cool gadgets!), increased visibility on IBM sites, invitations and discounts to IBM events, recognition at select conferences, and access to key IBM business executives and technical leaders. Visit the IBM Champion site to read more about the program and get to know the current IBM Champions.
While at the Lotusphere and Connect conferences in January, you can spot the champions by the "IBM Champion" ribbons they'll be sporting on their conference badges. You'll also find them in a special seating area at the front of the room at the opening and closing general sessions. And, as you can imagine, MANY of them will be speaking at sessions, facilitating Birds of a Feather sessions, conducting book signings, being interviewed on video, and a number of other exciting activities. You might even be lucky enough to witness a group of them sing karaoke ("We are the Champions!") in the evening if you head over to Kimono's.
IBM Champions, on behalf of my colleagues, and all the people who benefit from your generosity, THANK YOU for everything you do!
And continued thanks to the original set of champions announced earlier this year...
