One of the top design imperatives for our development organization is to solicit input from customers and Business Partners. Seeing and hearing first-hand reaction from real user experiences is vitally important to good software design.
Visit the User Experience Lab to see the latest design concepts, interaction strategies, and content delivery media that our team is developing. This is an opportunity for you to influence the direction of our portfolio. Be heard ... we're listening!
Here are the products and activities you can expect to find in the lab:
Share your opinions and insights about Connections 4.0 and influence designs for the future of Connections. Provide feedback on design prototypes, explore Connections 4.0, or participate in a usability study. We will be focusing on some exciting expansions to our document management capabilities, microblogging enhancements, new surveys feature, and extended theme options. We may also bring a few late-breaking design concepts for your feedback.
Tell us what tasks are the most important when you create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Participate in our activities to prioritize which editing tasks you believe are critical and what capabilities you wish were more refined. Evaluate the mobile version of Docs so that we know that we are meeting those needs. Give us your feedback to lead our future designs.
Mobile Social Business:
Select a phone or tablet and evaluate the performance of the mobile products from IBM. Use Android or iOS devices and inspect Sametime, Connections, and Traveler, which uses Notes for your email and calendar. Give us your feedback on the designs and prototypes for the future.
User Adoption and Enablement:
When you evaluate a product, does it help to know what others are saying about it? When you roll out a deployment, what do you tell your organization to get it excited about the product? How do they learn about the new features? Get hints and tips about engaging a community and what it takes to be successful with IBM Collaboration Solutions.
Social Business Solution Design:
Learn how IBM is building solutions with Social Software. Participate in design feedback, and engage in design activities and help shape design for Social Software.
