As promised in last week's post, here's the video of IBM executive, Phil Gilbert, as he describes and demonstrates the newest and coolest things to happen to operational decision management (ODM) and BPM products from the Impact 2012 Conference in Las Vegas.
For ODM, the enhancements to the business user interface are exciting because they make the management of business rules as familiar as your favorite social media platform. With the new interface, business users can easily interact with others, track comments in activity streams, see an overview of recent activities, subscribe to content of interest, search simply, and more. It’s being described as the most consumable business rule management system -- the goal being to engage subject matter experts with software with little to no training.
