Re: Impact Day 2: A composable business runs on composable processes
In response to: Impact Day 2: A composable business runs on composable processesYet another busy day, Delaney, thanks for covering these sessions for those who couldn't attend. Great connection between use cases in the morning session, the mobility enablement of IBM BPM and the ultimate dependency on the systems of record. Not to forget the underlying infrastructure as Steve Mills pointed out. Big fan of James' advice of externalizing decisions in decision services (go ODM!) and I'd add that those with a well designed and mature SOA are much more ready to embrace mobility in particular and the composable business opportunity in general, than others. Including the composition of "satellites" business and mobile applications which are going to proliferate thanks to the development cycle acceleration provided by PaaS/cloud-based development platforms such as BlueMix. SOA on steroids, but managed, with BPM as the enabling and orchestration backbone.
