In this short video taped on the floor of Impact 2013, James Taylor, IBM champion and decision management consultant, talks about how the adoption of mobile devices and applications is accelerating the need for decision management in order to make sure that back-end systems are smart enough to deliver on the promise of Mobile.
Additionally, Taylor gives a nod to IBM’s strategy for bringing processes and decisions even closer together (under its “Smarter Process” approach). I briefly covered these related topics, Mobile and Smarter Process, in a recent post -- “What’s New in Operational Decision Management?” -- and promised that I would provide more information about what a Smarter Process approach means, including some customer examples.
