Im a Web 2.0 person, so you can bet I like to play around with video technologies. Some of our Business Partners joke that I should strap a videocam to my head like Justine Ezarik, a talented, young viral video comedian.
Its no surprise then that the top item to catch my eye--besides Redmonks Michael Cotes intriguing insights on a week of Cloud conferences (part 3)--in my feed reader today was the announcement of a cool new Web replay technology released in the IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager (TPM).
The Web replay allows users to record sequenced tasks for training IT staff on using the TPM interface, provisioning systems, and setting up test-bed environments in an efficient, routine and consistent manner in contexts that can sometimes be pretty complicated. A great Tivoli Beat article covers the business value benefits and includes links to a demo and podcast.
We can check Web replay off the list. Now what could we do with an iPhone? ;) If you have innovative thoughts on how we could improve IBM products with rich media and Web 2.0 technologies to enable your business scenarios and goals, let me know. You may soon have the ear of one of our product developers.
