The Pulse Blog welcomes guest blogger, Jeannette Fetzer, IBM Security Portfolio Manager, who gives a bit of insight on what Security content her team is preparing to share with you at Pulse.
There will be more security than ever at IBM Pulse 2011 event in Las Vegas, NV this coming February. Not to worry, that doesn't mean there will be guards outside of each session to inspect the contents of your laptop bag, it means that the agenda will be jam packed with security content.
We'll have over 30 security sessions in three tracks at the Pulse, where security leaders from organizations like your own ( maybe even you! ) will share their experiences using IBM products and services to address today's security challenges. The tracks include:
- Understanding and Addressing Emerging Security Threats
- Building the Secure Infrastructure
- Managing Compliance and Audit Requirements for a Secure Organization.
The event will also feature IBM security leaders sharing best practices for managing security and compliance given the current threat landscape. This is an opportunity to mingle with security professionals from a variety of industries as well as the IBM security strategy, research and development team members.
How are you addressing today's security challenges with IBM security solutions? Do you have some experiences and best practices you'd like to share? We invite you to submit a proposal to speak at this exciting event. There are many different types of speaking opportunities. You may present alone, jointly with an IBM rep or Business Partner, or as part of a client panel.
