I love this new tagline for the 2012 Smarter Commerce Global Summit Madrid. I think it provides a very clear statement for why our mutual customers will find value in the conference. The Smarter Commerce Global Summit Madrid, which takes place this coming May 22-24, promises to provide insight and resources to help them understand today’s customers and effectively connect with them in an ever-changing landscape, which includes mobile, social, ecommerce, customer experience, analytics and more.
But I also think it answers some questions as to why IBM Business Partners should consider attending. As the largest event of its kind in Europe, The Smarter Commerce Global Summit is an incredible opportunity to learn about what your customers needs are. In addition, it's also a chance to experience the latest in new technology, best practices, industry perspectives and visionary thinking surrounding smart commerce today.

The early bird rate for SCGS has been extended through April 14, 2012. Register now to take advantage of €300 off the standard rate, and be sure to tell any current or potential clients your inviting about this deadline as well. Registration will be open up until the day of the event, and IBM will even accept walk-in registrations, but it's best to register before April 14 in order to secure the most preferential pricing.
This 3-day conference is divided into two tracks: a Business Leadership Track geared towards line of business, and a Practitioner track geared towards technical and IT. For each of these tracks, you'll find sessions on each stage of the commerce value chain (buy, market, sell & service), as well as sessions geared towards best practices in specific industries. Smarter Commerce Business Partner Forum
The main SCGS agenda begins at 1:00 p.m. on March 22, but for those who don't mind starting their day a little bit earlier, there is a half-day Business Partner Forum featuring topics exclusively for IBM Business Partners. The Forum will feature top IBM Software executives who will reveal valuable insights and effective techniques, as well as how you can work more closely with IBM to sell Smarter Commerce. You'll also hear from colleagues and clients on how Smarter Commerce helped them connect with their customers, and our intention is that you'll walk away from the breakout sessions with knowledge on new IBM investments in the channel to help you fine tune growth strategies and increase your share of wallet in key customer accounts.
Executive Meeting Center
The Executive Meeting Center will provide you with a chance to meet with IBM executives one-on-one in a private setting, where you can discuss topics specific to your business. Over 50 executives will be participating, so reach out to your Channel Sales Rep to schedule a meeting.
