IBM Business Partners may now earn Identify and/or Sell Software Value Incentive (SVI) fees for SmartCloud for Social Business opportunities that are placed through the IBM direct sales team.
SVI incentive fees for SmartCloud for Social Business can be up to 20% and will be paid directly to the Business Partner. Payments are made over the life of the subscription period including renewal periods on invoiced amounts for eligible Passport Advantage part types, as long as the Business Partner continues to be SVI approved for the product.
This is great news for our Business Partners. By placing SmartCloud for Social Business opportunities through IBM direct, Business Partners will be able to meet the needs of customers requiring more flexible payment terms such as monthly and quarterly customer billing. If monthly and quarterly customer billing is not required, Business Partners retain the option to continue to place orders through their Value Added Distributor.
