According to a recent IBM survey, The State of Marketing 2012
, high performing companies are nearly 3x more likely to be proactive leaders in driving an integrated experience across all channels. Successful marketers are using an integrated mix of tactics, rather than focusing on just one or two, and they are incorporating emerging digital technologies into the mix alongside more traditional types of campaigns.
As Business Partners, IBM provides you with a vast array of marketing assets, but admittedly, it's not always easy to see how they might fit together as part of an integrated campaign. To help connect these dots, we've assembled Ready to Execute campaigns
for you. Ready to Execute campaigns are complete campaigns include the campaign strategy, plan, marketing assets and offers. The campaign strategies have been developed with an integrated approach, so they include elements like multi-touch emails,
telemarketing scripts, and web marketing guidance in a complete package that you can use to generate pipeline. You can find them in the IBM Co-Marketing Center (CMC)
Here's how to get started with Ready to Execute campaigns:
1 - Choose your solution area. Campaigns are available for the following categories:
- Business Analytics
- IBM Collaboration Solutions
- Industry Solutions
- Specialized campaigns for midmarket
2 - Identify the search term that aligns to the specific campaign you wish to execute. This will help you easily find the campaign in the CMC. For example, let's say I am looking for a big data campaign. From the Ready to Execute home page, I would first select Information Management, and then scroll down to Big Data, Warehousing and Analytics. In that section, there is a twistie that will give me a description of each of the available campaigns. If, for example, the campaign that I want to access is Provide Real-time Insights from Data in Motion -- I would then need to make a note of the search term as indicated: "Real-time data insights".
3 - Locate the campaign in the CMC by using exact search term. All of the campaigns have been tagged as indicated, so it is very important to make a note of the search term, or you may have trouble finding the campaign that you need. The Ready to Execute web pages, rather than the CMC itself, should be your guide to finding the right campaigns. So, to find the campaign I was looking for above, I would just search for "Real-time data insights" in the CMC.
4 - Download and customize the campaign. You will have the opportunity to customize the campaigns with elements like your company logo, information about your company and a call-to-action that is relevant for your business.
These campaigns have been designed so that you can execute them yourself, however, you can always choose to utilize an agency to help you execute them. They are also available to all IBM Business Partners, regardless of Co-Marketing eligibility.
