Many IBM Business Partners approached us with a similar story, so we listened. And more importantly, we did something about it. Recently, we launched a new, more advanced search capability on PartnerWorld. This capability now makes it easier and faster to
locate information on the website.
What's cool about this new search functionality is the special features, which enable you to refine searches and selecting the
type of content you want. For example:
- Results can be culled from discrete categories such as news, events, product
information and more
- A new "Did you mean?" function enables you to refine or redirect searches
- Suggested links are provided to assist with your search
addition to these enhancements, underlying pages have been optimized for search, which means the content has been structured in such a way that it's easier to find. In addition, we did an extensive clean up, eliminating out-of-date and underused pages, resulting in a 60 percent reduction in content.
To get started with the new search features, simply go to the masthead search field, which will be in the upper right hand corner of any PartnerWorld page. The masthead may look a little bit different depending what page you're on, but the functionality is the same.
