On May 1, 2011, the IBM Messaging and Collaboration
portfolio of products (including Lotus Notes and Domino) will become part of the IBM Software Group authorized portfolio
. This means that in order for IBM Business Partners to continue to sell products in this portfolio, they will need to be authorized by IBM to sell. To be authorized, you must either be a validated SVI partner (one sales and two technical certifications) or have an authorized VAP solution. Coupled with either option, you must also have an active partner plan in place.
Be ready -- don't miss this important deadline! The below resources were designed to help you determine your readiness as you prepare to meet the requirements:
- Authorization Readiness Dashboard: In order to be authorized, you must have one valid sales certification, two valid technical certifications and an updated Partner Plan. You can use the Authorization Readiness dashboard to view the status of your certifications.
- IBM Software Value Plus Readiness web pages: Find information about available courses and tests, and determine which sales and technical requirements you need in order to comply. Visit the Software Value Plus Readiness page and check out the offerings under the Messaging and Collaboration banner.
Don't miss your opportunity to continue to sell the IBM Messaging and Collaboration portfolio of products. If you have questions or require assistance, contact your IBM representative.
