Checklists may not go into fine detail but in my experience as a Client Technical Professional at IBM, I’ve seen them prove very useful for organisations looking to implement new solutions.
Their value lies in their ability to start conversations. By facilitating dialogue between people of varying levels of technical competence, checklists can ensure solutions meet the needs of everyone in the business.
This is particularly important when it comes to mobility and BYOD. Mobile strategy is a complicated arena, particularly when you consider how many people it impacts and its need to integrate ever-changing technologies. Given this, I believe the checklist ‘Six considerations for your 2013 mobile enterprise strategy’ is a great resource for both IT and business leaders.
You can read the checklist here.
I’d love to know how your organisation is preparing its enterprise mobility strategy. Let me know in the comments.
