Like many organisations across Australia and New Zealand, ECU is experiencing burgeoning data demands in line with the growth of their business. During his tenure as Manager of IT Infrastructure, Angus Griffen has seen data grow from 50TB on primary storage to 300 to 400TB, and at least the same again on tape.
In this short video, Angus talks through how he approached issue. I particularly liked the way he strategised a solution to his organisation’s changing needs by posing the following questions:
• How do I provision storage in a timely fashion?
• How do I manage projected future growth?
• How do I manage back-ups and disaster recovery?
As a leader in helping organisations meet their data demands, it’s not surprising to hear that Angus turned to IBM to implement a solution that meets his organisation’s IT and business objectives. I encourage you to watch the video below to hear, directly from Angus, the benefits that ECU have accessed by partnering with IBM.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and welcome you to contact my via my IBM Rep Page.
