I have personally enjoyed the benefits that stem from social business and collaboration and as such can speak from personal experience as to how it improves productivity, revenue/cost outcomes and enhances an organisation's ability to attract & retain young talent. At IBM, I represent the IBM Collaboration Solutions (ICS) Brand and part of my role is to be a thought leader in the area of social businesses, networking & employee collaboration.
This story is just one of many similar case studies that demonstrates how organisations can embrace technology to delight their stakeholders.
Empowering the educational experience through the use of social technologies is an area that is truly transformative and is proof-in-point of how changing client demographics and preferences often prove to be the catalyst for radical change in established methods of doing business.
This video demonstrates how the IBM solution provided a framework within which collaboration between students, teachers and administrators could take place. It is clear to see that the CIO of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Roxanne Reynolds-Lair, was delighted with the integrated, reliable and scalable solution that IBM deployed which provided the college with a solid foundation upon which they could build their business.
To share your story, or to talk more about this persuasive trend in digital communication I encourage you to connect with my via my IBM Rep Page.
