As I think about the evolution of IT, we are hitting a new era which is the age of "ANY." Anything can be an application or app-like. Anyone can be a developer. Data can be accessed from anywhere.
The influx of mobile and cloud-based applications combined with traditional environments has made the age of “ANY” that much more difficult a time for application development teams to deliver quality software with the required speed and agility that clients expect and require.
In this age of “ANY," we must be able to look beyond our traditional methods of software delivery to compete. This means better integration between development and operations (DevOps) for continuous delivery at higher quality, and consistency of requirements across deployment hardware, operating systems and platforms. But most of all, it means we must be open to ANYTHING!
During IBM InterConnect 2012 (October 9-11. 2012) Kristof Kloeckner, IBM Rational’s general manager, Harish Grama IBM Rational’s VP of Development, and Wing To, IBM Tivoli’s VP of Product Management & Strategy will join principle consultant Scott Marchant from TestPro to discuss how organizations are delivering more innovative software for competitive advantage. You will hear about what IBM Rational and IBM Tivoli are doing, and how clients are leveraging their capabilities to accelerate software delivery from anywhere, by anyone, to deploy in any environment.
