After Installing and Configuring IBM Case Manager on mobile, an important step is to add mobility to case workers to allow users of IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator to access content, work items, and business process on the go with their mobile devices. Always being connected and informed is what the IBM Content Navigator mobile app with IBM Case Manager achieves.
With the IBM Content Navigator mobile application, IBM Case Manager now has the following benefits:
Accessing Case Client
After successfully logging into your Case Manager system through the IBM Contnet Navigator mobile app, you are presented with mobile Case Client. In our particular Customer Response Management solution, we load the Cases page first. Here we can navigate Case Client as a particular role as we would for the desktop version of Case Client. The Cases and Work tab are presented as well as the ability to search for cases on the Cases page.
You can search for cases using the Search widget on the Cases page using the mobile app. After the Case List widget renders the search results, you can open a specific case, show a link to the case, send a link to the case, show comments, or even add a custom menu action. This is important as the customer service representative can search cases on the desktop version in the same way that a specialist can search for cases on the mobile app.
After opening a case, you can do a variety of items such as update a case property or add a document to the case. A specific feature to mobile Case Client is adding documents or photos directly from the mobile device. In our Customer Response Management solution, the Specialist can take a photo of the defective product and add it to the case.
