As part of its efforts to fuel global innovation, IBM regularly opens its lab doors to people from business and academia so they can work directly with our researchers to fine-tune their skills and help develop solutions for solving key local and global challenges — like traffic, healthcare, energy, water and e-government.
This week's opening of the IBM Innovation Center in Nairobi, Kenya continues this trend, and creates a place where local businesses, universities, venture capitalists and startups can come together to collaborate on technologies that can make a difference in Africa and beyond, while breaking new ground in cloud and mobile computing and analytics.
