Late last year, I wrote a short article to introduce the new Business Analytics Support site
that we put together to help our customers make the most of the online resources available to them. So far, we have received a considerable amount of feedback from both new users (our target market) and long-time users alike. Many have told us how the information contained within these pages helped demystify certain aspects of the online offerings, especially with respect to how best to configure and use Support Portal and the Service Request tool, or access downloads. This site is certainly not intended to replace Support Portal, and most find they no longer need it once they have everything setup there, but others continue to use it as a quick and easy reference point from which they can access the most commonly accessed resources.
A number of first-time users commented that the videos placed on most of the pages within this site helped them get the overall understanding they needed to move forward with the tools available to them, and they have shared the link with their colleagues, and in the case of our customer facing Partners, with their onsite clients. That said, we are still interested to hear your feedback as we look for ways to improve both the content and its overall presentation, so let us know your thoughts in the comments section or through your regular communication channels. Trust me, we're listening...
As before, we encourage all our customers to have a look at the new site at ibm.com/analytics/support
, especially those who feel a bit lost or frustrated when navigating ibm.com.
