The Impact 2013 Mobile Open Technology Meetup is just around the corner!
IBM is hosting a Mobile Open Technology Meetup at Impact 2013, on Monday, April 29th at 4 pm! We are kick starting the Developer Unconference experience by bringing developers, development team leaders, and open technologies experts together to discuss how to leverage today’s leading open source and standards technologies for mobile application development.
Business leaders finally recognize the value software can bring beyond just supporting the business - it's now driving business innovation and opportunities. And let's face it; it's developers are at the helm of this paradigm shift and in the driver’s seat. As a result developers can’t just focus on building standalone applications anymore; they are now on the front lines of the enterprise integrated applications mission. This means integrating mobile solutions and the enterprise's full set of capabilities around Cloud, Social, Mobile and Analytics.
But it doesn’t stop there. Enterprises are requiring developers to deliver more innovative applications, faster than ever before, and with fewer resources. So developers are meeting the challenge with open technologies, enabling an exponential return on value to the enterprise. Think of the value the internet, built on open technologies, created for businesses. This would have never happened had it been built on proprietary technologies. So a developer's understanding of the latest open technologies can mean the difference between success and failure for today's business leaders.
Developers now have the option of getting the full Impact experience or just selecting the new Developer Pass. This discounted Developer Pass gives you access to the Developer Unconference, the AT&T Hackathon, the Mobile Open Technology Meetup, and Impact days 3 & 4! (Use promo code WPT13DEV when registering for this $495 Developer Pass option)
