Why Integration Matters
IBM PureSystems were first launched on April 11, 2012 as part of a new category of systems called Expert Integrated Systems. IBM PureSystems is a family of offerings that have 3 key attributes including built-in-expertise, integration by design and simplified experience. IBM PureApplication System is a complete end-to-end integrated system, optimized system for Enterprise Applications, with built-in-expertise in the form of patterns.
On December 6th, IBM Vice President of Product Management for PureSystems Jason Gartner and IBM PureApplication System Product Manager Marc Haberkorn shared their perspectives on integration, cloud and patterns offered by PureApp system during a live video chat broadcast. I helped to moderate this discussion about the state of the Enterprise Application market, the patterns based approach to IT and how built-in expertise provides reduced time to value and simplified IT project lifecycle.
Be on the lookout for upcoming IBM Impact chats in January and February on this and other tech topics. This is your chance to interact with IBM technical experts and thought leaders before the Impact 2013 conference in April. This chat series will frame the conversations at Impact in Las Vegas. Make your plans to join IBMers as well as business partners and customers at Impact 2013 using PureSystems today.
Be sure to follow @IBMImpact on twitter and the conference LinkedIn group or Facebook page to get the latest news. Plus let us know what you'd like to discuss in future chats and any questions you'd like to send to Jason, Marc or myself. Finally, check out daily blog posts from the PureSystems and PureApp team on this and other cloud and integration topics.
