This week saw the launch of the IBM Champion Program for WebSphere. The program is designed to honor those of you that make a significant contribution to technical communities that cover IBM technologies.
For example, it could be that you blog about different implementations, that you are active on our (or other) forums, or that you present at events. Just go ahead and nominate yourself or someone you know who might be appropriate. Our board will review and if accepted, you will become an IBM Champion with extra prominence across our network, privileged access to the IBM product portfolio and special invitations and discounts at events.
I recently managed to catch up with the developerWorks Director Alice Chou who explained the program in more detail:
As Bob Leah points out on his blog, if you happen to be in the Rational space, we’ll be opening nominations there in the next few days.
Interested? Check out the IBM Champion site where you can learn more and make nominations.
