Contributed by Sarah Santoro,
A big THANK YOU goes out to all of you that stopped by the Client Reference Lounge while at Impact 2011.. We had a wonderful turnout this year with hundreds of visitors during the course of the four days we were open, many of whom were among the more than 300 client speakers at Impact2011, and were able to make many client connections within the lounge. There were 25 new videos recorded and many new references are in the works!
Some of the biggest highlights of the lounge this year were the massage chairs where visitors could relax with their complimentary exclusive food and beverage served in the lounge, as well as our poolside cabanas, which were offered to IBM account managers to hold meetings with their clients or to clients who simply wanted to relax and unwind.
And according to Patrick Weil from Sauer-Danfoss, “It's like the VIP Lounge in the airport -- it's quite and a good getaway.”
“It’s always nice to have a little special treatment,” commented Randy Berger, Siemens Energy.
Another feature was our ACE Awards cocktail reception where we honored clients with success stories in the areas of Agility (HUK-COBURG, Lincoln Trust, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC) Transformation (First Citizens Bank, The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, WorkSafe Victoria) and Innovation (American Well, Irish Dairy Board, Lockheed Martin).
ACE Awards recipients were invited to participate in several elite activities at Impact and received a crystal award commemorating their achievement.
If you would like to act as an a reference client, contact your IBM representative, IBM Business Partner or Caroline Poser, IBM Client Reference Manager, WebSphere and we’ll make sure you get the chance to be a part of the IBM Client Reference Program. We’ll be looking for you in the Client Reference Lounge at Impact 2012.
