I spoke to Devi Gupta, VP of Marketing, about Prolifics and what we can expect to see this year.
Devi, tell us about Prolifics’ presence at Impact this year.
Prolifics is excited to be a Gold Sponsor this year for the 5th consecutive year. We get a lot of value each year from this show and continue to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in speaking sessions, ranging from customer case studies to various solution topics. This year we’re hosting over 10 speaking sessions between Prolifics and our customers.
We are also introducing some new and exciting offerings this year at Impact. Over the last year, Prolifics has had a great deal of experience implementing SOA and BPM solutions for customers across a range of industries. We have invested heavily in our skills around new IBM SOA and BPM technologies, such as Business Process Manager 7.5, WebSphere Operational Decision Management and WebSphere MQ 7.1, and we have developed some valuable offerings around these products to help customers get the right start and ensure the success of their SOA and BPM initiatives. We’ll be speaking to attendees about the following offerings: BPM Readiness Assessment, Business Rules Quick Start, BPM 7.5 Migration, BPM Center of Excellence and MQ 7.1 Jump Start. The Prolifics team is really looking forward to discussing with attendees how we can help get them on the right track.
In addition, Prolifics is giving attendees the chance to see Worklight in action! We will be showcasing a new Worklight demo at our booth – G1. With the recent excitement around Worklight, we feel that attendees will really be interested in this up-close look.
Sounds like you have some exciting sessions lined up at Impact. Can you tell us more?
We’re really looking forward to all of our sessions this year because they portray exciting solution areas that Prolifics has focused on over the past year. Many of our sessions will highlight a real case study so attendees will be able to hear from our customers first-hand how Prolifics was able solve each organization’s business challenges and deliver a successful and innovative solution.
At one of our sessions, Prolifics and our customer, Cigna, are joining together to share the organization’s BPM solution. Prolifics’ VP of BPM, Anant Gupta, and our customer from Cigna will provide a look into Cigna’s strategic vision and how leveraging BPM process-centric tools has helped achieve the business agility they need to grow and evolve over time. We’re seeing a lot of excitement around this session and we feel attendees will really learn a lot!
Prolifics is also teaming up with our customer Huntington Bank at Impact. During this presentation, Prolifics and Huntington will discuss how the bank was able to leverage SOA technologies to manage enterprise services through service versioning and governance. Huntington Bank will also be showcased as a keynote in the opening session on day 1 of Impact. At the Impact Break Free Forum on Monday, Prolifics’ customers Huntington Bank, Cardinal Health and Tire Battery Corporation will be showcased out of 4 panel members as well as Prolifics’ EVP Mike Chadwick. We think these are all great stories and we’re excited to share them with everyone at Impact.
More information about Prolifics’ Impact sessions can be found here: http://prolifics.com/impact-2012.htm. We look forward to sharing these exciting presentations and discussing them in greater detail with Impact attendees.
By the way, congratulations on being selected for the Impact Women’s Panel!
Thank you! It’s an honor to be chosen to participate in this panel with WebSphere GM, Marie Wieck, Kristen Lauria and other accomplished women. I’m really looking forward to it! The panel will kick off Tuesday, May 1 at 5:15pm (Palazzo E – 5th floor)
Looks like attendees can expect to see a lot from Prolifics at Impact! Nothing inspires like our customer success stories and it’s great to hear you have so much to share at Impact this year. Thank you, Devi for your time!
