The IBM WebSphere Application Server Feature Pack for Communications Enabled Applications (CEA) interactive demo recently won the 2010 Innovator Award in the Summit Emerging Media Competition.
The beauty of the CEA Feature Pack demo is that it communicates complex, technical information in a clear, compelling and entertaining manner. Not only does it demonstrate the business benefits provided by the product in terms application innovation, it also illustrates how easily existing applications can be updated with communication capabilities.
The demo describes how CEA Feature Pack delivers an SOA based Java programming model for efficiently creating innovative multimodal communications applications such as Click to call, Cobrowsing and Two-way Synchronized Forms across desktop and mobile browsers. It shows how mobile widget support provides access to telephony services which can be easily inserted into new or existing applications and demonstrates additional features.
