On February 22, 2011, IBM will announce a significant service update for IBM LotusLive Notes. Included in the update will be a new offering entitled, "IBM LotusLive Notes Hosted BlackBerry Service," which will provide an optional add-on subscription capability for fully-hosted BlackBerry mobile device services in the LotusLive cloud. This means that small, medium and large enterprises will no longer be required to maintain an on-premises BlackBerry Enterprise Server infrastructure for serving the needs of their BlackBerry mobile device users.
