Effective July 1, 2012: Additional IBM Collaboration Solutions products moving to SVP Authorized groups

IBM is committed to supporting an ecosystem of skilled IBM Business Partners. In support of that commitment, IBM will be moving additional IBM Collaboration Solutions products from Open distribution to Software Value Plus (SVP) Authorized distribution.
Effective July 1, 2012, the following IBM Collaboration Solutions products are moving from Open Distribution to one of the ICS authorized product groups, as follows:
Move to Lotus Messaging and Collaboration Authorization Group:
Move to Portal Authorization Group:
Move to SmartCloud for Social Business* Authorization Group (* New Product Group as of July 1, 2012)
For those IBM Business Partners already SVP Authorized for the relevant authorized product groups, there is no action required to continue reselling the listed products!
IBM Business Partners who are not SVP Authorized for the ICS authorized product groups related to the products listed, please complete the Software Value Plus requirements. We have an ICS-specific page on PartnerWorld which outlines available tests and certifications for each ICS authorized product group. Please refer to this page for the information you need as an ICS Business Partner to be authorized to sell in one of these groups.

Please note, after July 1, 2012, you must be authorized to continue selling these products. Start working on your certification now, so you'll be ready to sell after that date.
