Multi-enterprise process collaboration, whether transaction or file-based, is the lifeblood of nearly every organization. However, effective collaboration can be challenging due to increasing customer demands, varying trading partner capabilities, resource constraints, and ever-changing industry standards/regulations.
To succeed, organizations must connect, integrate and synchronize their extended value chains so they may become essential to their customers, partners, and suppliers. IBM clients use our market leading integration solutions to do just that. I invite you to come see and hear how, next week in Tampa at the Smarter Commerce Global Summit.
This year, we’ve pulled out all the stops. In addition to the stellar General Session line up, networking events and the awesome music of Barenaked Ladies; we believe our B2B Integration and File Transfer professionals will find tremendous value in our agenda. We have a record 40 breakout sessions (Download Session Roadmap here) featuring content from market leaders like Whirlpool, Ryder Logistics, CVS Caremark, Jabil Circuit, Sony, Commerce Bankshares, Reynolds American, CEVA Logistics, Watts Water and more. IDC analyst, Chandan Gopal will help you gauge your readiness for the emerging “3rd Platform in B2B” while Heidi Shey of Forrester Research will discuss Key Security and Risk Trends in Moving Data and the Emergence of Enterprise File Sync and Share.
In our first keynote, Tuesday afternoon, IBM executives Charles Chu and Michelle Munson (CEO of newly acquired Aspera) will discuss how IBM is enabling companies to synchronize their value chains at the speed of life with IBM B2B Integration and MFT solutions. This session will include demos of the new IBM Sterling B2B Services Analytics and Reporting offering as well as key offerings from Aspera, such as Aspera Drive. We’ll also hear from Aspera client, Sony Pictures Entertainment on how Aspera technology is revolutionizing their digital value chain and aided in expediting the delivery of new movies like The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Our second keynote; Inspired Leadership – The Heart and the Fist, is a special treat to our customers. We’ve invited Eric Greitens a Navy SEAL, award-winning author, Rhodes Scholar, humanitarian and Founder and CEO of The Mission Continues. He speaks on living with resilience and leading with strength and compassion through adverse circumstances. His work as a social entrepreneur is transforming how America views our veterans. He has worked as a humanitarian volunteer, documentary photographer, and researcher. As a humanitarian, he helped aid workers heal orphaned children in Rwanda and lived in camps alongside Bosnian refugees. As a warrior, he excelled at the hardest military training in the world and teamed up with fellow SEALs to hunt al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear Eric and learn from one of Fortune Magazines “World’s Top 50 Leaders” on how you can become a better leader in your personal and professional life. All session attendees will receive* a copy of his award winning book, The Heart and the Fist.
We can’t wait to see you in Tampa, if you haven’t already registered click here to register and join us for a great week of learning, networking, and fun.
