Jayasree resides in Schaumburg, Illinois in the United States. She has been with IBM® for over twelve years with a total of seventeen years as an IT consultant. Currently, Jaya is a Managing Consultant with IBM Software Services for Collaboration. Jaya specializes in IBM® Lotus Notes® and Domino® application development and other Software Collaboration Services solutions like IBM® Sametime® and IBM® Connections. She worked as a lead developer involved in many projects with custom application designs, implementation, application assessments, requirements and system analysis, optimizing Domino® applications, and data integration with third party tools based on client's needs. AD404 NSF2IPA - Delivering your existing IBM Domino application as a mobile App
From processing your email, to handling loan approval, Domino applications has been one of the main delivery vehicle in enterprises. In this session we will explore how to mobile enable an existing Domino applications using IBM Worklight. We will briefly touch upon the key strategies - mobile website and mobile apps and go in depth. We will start with an overview of Worklight and introduce two approaches that exist to leverage existing Domino/XPages applications in the mobile context. We will compare and contrast the two approaches. We will then spend most time on the application development environment using Eclipse based Worklight Studio to create a Android and iPhone application to access an existing Domino application, using one of the approach. We will also explore offline capabilities using the JSONStore feature and showcase the sync functionality from a Domino App on the server with the newly developed mobile app. We will end with demonstration of the app.
