JayaPrasad Thambuganipalle (we call him "JP") has been with IBM for almost 7 years and happily lives in sunny Jacksonville, Florida in the United States. JP is a Software Accelerated Value Leader and prior to holding this position, he was a lead portal architect in IBM Software Services for Collaboration. Prior to joining IBM, JP worked with two of the top five global investment banks as a web infrastructure specialist/architect. For JP, the most rewarding aspect of his job is seeing customers succeed in implementing IBM® WebSphere® Portal technologies. He enjoys sharing his expertise and helping his colleagues with their WebSphere® Portal clients and participates in internal enablement opportunities with WebSphere®. He also co-authored some IBM® Redbooks®. When not working, JP enjoys running (although he isn't sure if he is running away from something or trying to create some creative ideas). He has been running half marathons for 4 years and, this past December, he ran his first marathon! (Go JP!) He also spends time with his wife and two children.
