The funny thing about growing up in South Florida is that one minute it's bright as day. Not a cloud in the sky. Then the next minute it's pouring rain for about 15 minutes. Then it's back to sunny.
That is how I would describe attending any conference. Quiet. Busy busy busy. Then back to normal.
To help you with your prep, I wanted to call out a few items of interest (including some good social media tips).
You Are Here: Industry Session Roadmaps
If you follow the Pulse blog, you'll know that I posted about these last Thursday.
They are awesome. Pick your industry and we have a list of the sessions that might interest you.
We also have a QR code for these roadmaps that will be displayed in a few places should you want to point your mobile phone to them.
All Clients, All The Time
Rebecca Wissinger and her team have a ton of cool things going on for our clients at Pulse.
She posted on the Pulse blog about them last week.
I think my favorite thing here is the Client Connections where we can help match you with other clients who have done what you're looking to do.
Virtual Simulator: Experience It And Then See The Game
David Ojalvo posted about the simulator workshop on Sunday, the Integrated Service Management Simulator Overview breakout sessions and the ISM Virtual Simulator ped in the Best Practices Zone.
David, along with a number of folks on the team (myself included) will be at the ped to answer questions and show off the game.
Our team will also have a table in the Business Partner Cafe, specifically to talk about Integrated Service Management for Industries. I'll be there, along with a number of other members of the team.
See It, Read It And Hear It Now!
The Pulse Conversations is your single view into all the exciting social media conversations happening in and around the conference.
Great for those attending (and especially great for those not attending) to follow the action and find out about what's happening.
Be sure to go to the site and register. We'll have links to Flickr, blogs, rolling Twitter feeds on our hash tags. Livestream. This thing is awesome!
Oh, and I should mention that I'm loading up a number of tweets on time delay with suggestions on things to see at designated times. So if you're at Pulse, keep an eye on Twitter...
I Stream, You Stream, We All Stream For Live Stream!
Like other IBM conferences, we'll have a lot going on in the Livestream channel (Pulse folder). Special thanks go to Tiffany Winman and Jennifer Dennis who worked on a lot of the planning for this.
What's The Hashtag, Kenneth?
The following is a list of hash tags that we're using for the Pulse conference.
Our core accounts for the conference are @IBMPulse, @IBMTivoli and @servicemgmt.
Oh, and if you see me running around the conference (I'll be the one in the IBM Pulse staff shirt, easy to spot!), be sure to say hello and let me know what you think about the blog and how we can work to improve it for ya'.
