All speakers at Pulse 2010 are great........but I'm so glad that I was able to listen to Clay Nesler from Johnson Controls today during the Enterprise Asset Management track kickoff. The timing could not have been better as today IBM announced a new relationship with JCI to create "a new era of smarter buildings. Together, the companies will team to provide a Smart Building Solution that can improve operations and reduce energy and water consumption in buildings worldwide."
Quoting William Sawyer, Vice President, Tivoli Maximo Operations, IBM Software Group......
"The Smart Building Solution from Johnson Controls and IBM will deliver the ability to optimize energy and environmental performance by integrating building, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. This will provide our clients with advanced intelligence capabilities that will measurably improve building operations."

Not only was this a great announcement, Clay Nesler's presentation about the "day in the life of a smart building", that I referred to in my earlier blog today about the EAM Track Kickoff, was very cool!
Look for more with Clay Nesler in the future on this blog.
