Today's blog is from Rob Bloom.
Over 100 Maximo clients actively participated in the 2010 Pulse agenda. The excitement started on Sunday with 1,000+ attending the (8) Industry User Groups with the Maximo Utility Working Group leading the way. EAM clients were focused on the Maximo portfolio, but they also left talking about integrated Service Management and there was quite a bit of extremely positive buzz surrounding the General Session presentations from the opening remarks to the Smart Cities video that featured Maximo at work at the Venetian Hotel and the video of the benefits at the City of Chesapeake.
The EAM track kick-off on Monday had nearly 1100 attendees all of which were able to see Kuwait Oil Company, TVA, and McCarran Airport recognized as this year’s IBM Maximo Asset Management Best Practice award winners. The award, now in its 12th year, recognizes organizations for innovation, ROA/ROI, training, organizational acceptance, and improvement and efficiency in their maintenance practices. Congratulations this year’s winners.
Also, we were extremely pleased that many of our international clients made the long journey and presented during the three day event. All of their talks were very well received and helped make this year’s agenda extremely strong.
For those in Las Vegas, you know how busy the IBM peds were, and the Maximo Solution Center and Meet the Experts area. We are so pleased that nearly all in attendance took advantage of this great venue and spent some quality time with our subject matter experts.
Save the date for 2011: February 27 – March 3.
