Today's blog entry comes from Rob Bloom.
It was a very busy summer in Littleton, MA where it seemed that almost every other week members of the analyst community visited our new campus and received an update on the IBM Maximo Asset Management roadmap and learned first hand about our aggressive move into facilities management.
Powerful IBM Maximo Asset Management internal teams were assembled from development, product management, and category marketing that filled the briefing room with over 200 man years of EAM/Maximo experience. The results speak for themselves and showcase our market leading functionality and vision and highlight our expanding market share in this nearly two billion dollar market.
So what does it all really mean? Since IBM’s acquisition of MRO Software in October of 2006 we have seen an increased investment in EAM development including new industry solutions, a significant up-tick in our delivery capabilities, rapid and seamless integration of platforms and products, and integration with other IBM Software/Industry Groups.
We are expanding our footprint and coverage and our commitment to our customers via product reviews, development partner efforts, and design interaction are all key ingredients in receiving these shining analyst reports. The real proof points come this February when over 100 Maximo clients will be presenting at Pulse discussing their experiences in the following tracks: Best Practices, Implementation & Upgrades, Introducing New Maxiimo Functionality, Maximo Technical Sessions, Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG), Smarter Asset Management for Your Industry, and Smarter Buildings.
Check out the IBM Pulse website to see how you can play an active role in this year's agenda or simply stay current on the power of EAM at this event.
