Today's blog comes from Rob Bloom.
New to the 2012 Pulse curriculum is a Smarter Physical Infrastructure stream. This stream will include EAM, Smarter Buildings, Integrated Workplace Management (TRIRIGA), and Operations Center for a Smarter Planet.
All the familiar EAM tracks of years past are embedded into this stream including Best Practices, Implementation & Upgrades, Extended Usage, Technical Sessions, Industry Case Studies, and the Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG).
Overall, under this stream, we are looking for presentations that will showcase how intelligent integrated physical and digital infrastructures provide decision makers with consolidated information to better manage assets, buildings, campuses and cities.
More specifically for EAM, we are looking for presentations that will highlight a multitude of industries where IBM Maximo Asset Management plays a vital role in operational efficiency by improving service, reducing cost, and managing risk. Extending asset lifespan, maximizing ROI/ROA, optimizing labor efficiency and supply chains, and space planning, are just some of the topics that will be presented in this track. Special focus will be on best practices, implementation and upgrades, and taking a deep dive into how Maximo’s industry specific functionality addresses the needs of today’s most progressive companies. The stream will also be composed of a series of functional and technical sessions blanketing everything from report writing and scheduling to mobile and calibration.
You will want to secure your speaking slot early, so submit your paper today here.
As in years past we will also be looking for clients to share their Maximo success stories on camera, similar to this year's submission by John Garrison from Baltimore Gas and Electric:
If you are interested, please send an email with the subject: "Pulse Video Candidate" to firstname.lastname@example.org.
New this year we are recruiting "fun" home video submissions prior to Pulse. So if you are looking for your 5 minutes of fame at Pulse, be sure that you submit a "If only I had Maximo at home" video. To learn more visit this link.
Lots of opportunities! As always follow this blog for updates along the way.
