Each year, IDC Energy Insights publishes the top ten predictions for the Utilities Industry. The #1 prediction this year is on ‘Smart Meters’ where IDC predicts that they will peak in 2012, and propelling demand response. Smart meter implementations will shift to the Muni and Coop market.
