Today's blog entry comes from Eric Luyer.
Are you interested in “hearing” what your buildings are saying? Or interested how to cut facilities’ energy and operational costs? Would you like to learn how IBM’s asset management and analytics software integrates with energy devices, meters and other sub-systems, displaying data in a way that drives higher levels of efficiency?
If your answer to any of these questions is a full “yes”, then your customers should attend the
European Customer Event on Smarter Buildings
May 17-18, 2011
At the IBM Customer Centre in Montpellier, France.
At this event high-profiled speakers will discuss and demonstrate all answers to these questions and will include every aspect around managing buildings. There will also be a panel discussion with business partners like Johnson Controls and Schneider, key partners working with IBM on integrated solutions to manage buildings, facilities and properties in a smarter way.
This event provides the opportunity to share IBM's perspective on Smarter Buildings, and how managing your buildings and facilities can help you create a more energy, operationally and space efficient building or facility.
Also the event will showcase how Smarter buildings integrate and optimize the physical and digital infrastructures in individual buildings and groups of buildings to create facilities that are more cost effective for owners and service providers. This is achieved by taking steps to reduce energy, optimize space use, and become more operationally efficient, ultimately reducing overall operational costs – all in a sustainable manner. This will be our focus for the event, and we’ll bring it all together by going into more detail about how managing your building and facilities assets can help you achieve these goals.
This is the first IBM event around Smarter Building Management in Europe and is focused on all decision makers and key influencers from Facility/Building Owners to Facility Management Service Providers in different industries or markets such as in the Public Sector, Commercial Building Owners, Finance and Insurance, Real Estate Management Companies, Retail Chains or Large Shopping Centres, Telecom, Utilities or Manufacturing companies with large facilities or University campuses, Large Hospitals, Hotel chains, etc..
