Social Connections: The Social Business User Group invites you to Zurich
By Femke Goedhart, Business Consultant, Silverside
In a world where social business is often still seen as a ‘buzz word’ and many companies are still determining their viewpoint, having the opportunity to speak with experts, exchange ideas and hear real-life use cases can make all the difference. But getting these contacts can be challenging.
That was the catalyst for launching an independent international user group for IBM Connections a couple of years ago, called Social Connections. Twice a year this user group organizes events where users, managers, developers, administrators, consultants and anyone interested in IBM Connections come together to exchange ideas and learn. Being an international user group means having international locations. So after a very successful Social Connections IV in Amsterdam last November, Social Connections V will be hosted in Zurich, Switzerland on June 28th. But the event isn't just for Europeans. Attendees from as far away as the US, Japan, Australia, Russia and South Africa are making this a truly international event.
There are 24 sessions in 3 tracks - management, technical and case studies - focused on everyone from the hardcore developer to the end user hoping to hear how other organizations use IBM Connections. A complimentary dinner is organized for those interested - giving attendees a chance to talk and continue the connections in a relaxed atmosphere, while enjoying the beautiful Swiss scenery.
And best of all - due to our fantastic sponsors, the event is free of charge!
But Social Connections offers more. This time round we will also be organizing a full day masterclass on June 27th by Michael Sampson. Michael is an international expert on social collaboration and author of the recently published book “Doing Business with IBM Connections: Opportunities for Improving Processes, Driving Results, and Achieving Great Outcomes with IBM Connections 4.5”. He will be guiding participants through 10 collaboration scenarios that can help them form a strategy and plan for a successful social business implementation.
There are still a few seats open for this wonderful event so register today to reserve your seat. This is the place to be when social business and IBM Connections are on your radar!
