Constructing a query with a SQL statement

To construct a query directly by entering a SQL statement, use the SQL View tab in the administration console.

Before you begin

About this task

You can optionally start query construction on the Simple View tab. This construction activity is represented by SQL text that Content Platform Engine automatically enters on the SQL View tab. You cannot switch back to the Simple View tab, however, without losing the changes that you made on the SQL View tab.

Procedure

To construct an SQL query:

Access the search node in the administration console:
1. In the domain navigation pane, click the object store.
2. In the object store navigation pane, click Search.
On the Search tab, click New.
On the New Search tab, click the SQL View subtab.
Enter SQL text for your query.
To run the query, click Run.
