z/OS DFSMS Using the Volume Mount Analyzer

Figure 1 shows the syntax for the COMPACTION keyword.

    [COMPACTION (nn)]

nn
Represents the percentage of compaction achieved. This value indicates that all data sets in the sample can achieve nn% compaction when DFSMShsm moves the data sets from primary to migration level 1 DASD.
