Because DFSMShsm serializes the UCB of each ML1 volume as soon
as the volume is selected for use, you will not be able to delete
the device the ML1 volume resides on until processing is complete.
The serialization of the UCBs occurs during:
- Automatic volume space management
- Automatic secondary space management
- Command volume migration
- Command level 1 to level 2 migration
