When you enter the EXPIREBV ABARSVERSIONS command to expire specific aggregate backup versions form a stacked tape, the DFSMShsm automatically removes the tape from the RACF® tape volume set. If there are still valid aggregate backup files on the stacked tape, enter the RACF RALTER command to add the tape's volser back to DFSMShsm's RACF tape volume set. In this example, volser is the serial number of the stacked tape.
