Is using the Managing Server supported on Win 2012?

Answer

Since 1H2015, the Managing Server (MS) can not be installed on the Win 2012 server. This is because Microsoft has deprecated the SFU (Services for Unix) feature/function and the MS requires this. See Microsoft's link here for the list of features that have been deprecated: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh831568.aspx

So, because of this, the MS cannot be used on the Win 2012 server. A RFE has been opened to document this requirement for future releases if there's a SFU equivalent. Stay tuned. Meantime, your other option is to install on a Win 2008 Server if you want to use the MS on a Windows environment.
