Error description

  • DETAILS OF PROBLEM:
TPC Performance Monitor job fails to retrieve Statistic files as
"not found" when TPC requests them. This may occur for a new
SVC Performance Monitor and also when re-enabling an existing
    SVC PM job.
When collecting Performance Monitor statistics files using SVC
CLI over SSH method (not CIMOM), retrieving statistics files may
fail with a message stating the Stats files are not available.
Example: When collecting data from SVC with 15 minute interval,
a new set of statistics files should become available anytime
within the 15 minute interval. Statistics files may become
available on the config-node much earlier than the 15 minute
mark. TPC will not look for the files the 15 minute mark. TPCs
mechanism to determine whether the statistics files are too old
may cause the current statistics to be marked as "old". As a
result the set of statistics files will not be selected as they
    are older expected.
The performance monitor job will show this error for the first
and subsequent failed collection attempts in TPC logs:
"HWNPM2052E: No performance data was collected from device SVC
NAME for the current collection interval due to an error. The
previous polling interval with data was at (null)."
    .
Recreate Steps: Difficult to recreate this problem as it's a
timing related out of sync situation.
