Problem(Abstract)

Application: PowerPlay Transformer 7
Excel: Office 2000
Description:
Unable to update an existing cube after the .CSV file that was used for the datasource was modified in Excel.
Error Message -
TR0806 Date is invalid
Solution:
The date format that was entered in the Excel spreadsheet did not match the format defined in Transformer.
Steps -
1. Open the Excel spreadsheet.
2. Make the necessary changes to the date format.
3. Open the model in Transformer.
4. In the Data Sources window, select the data source that generates the error.
5. Right click the data source and then click data Source Viewer
6. Select the date column.
7. Right click the date column and then click Properties.
8. Click the Time tab and modify the Date Input Format to match the date column.
Build the cube.
Resolving the problem
