The generally available version of eXtreme Scale 8.5.0.0 does not provide a mechanism to install the product into a WebSphere Application Server Liberty Profile that was installed using the archive installer.

You must install V8.5 Fix Pack 1 or higher, which includes an archive installer. This does not affect users who have installed the Liberty profile using IBM Installation Manager as part of their WebSphere Application Server installation.

WebSphere eXtreme Scale V8.5 Fix Pack 1 provides an archive installer, based on the Liberty profile archive installer that you can use to install the product in the Liberty profile.
