Abstract

You can upgrade to IBM Content Analytics with Enterprise Search 3.0 from IBM Content Analytics Version 2.2 or OmniFind Enterprise Edition Version 9.1.

For upgrade procedures, including a summary of data that is or is not migrated automatically, see the attached PDF file, Upgrading to Version 3.0. This document also provides information about changes between the base release of Version 3.0 and Version 3.0 Fix Pack 1.

Attention: If you did not use the default installation paths for your IBM Content Analytics V2.2 or OmniFind Enterprise Edition V9.1 installation, see the following critical information before you begin the upgrade process: Potential loss of previous configuration when upgrading to a new version of Content Analytics with Enterprise Search or OmniFind Enterprise Edition.
