While working with PureApp 2.0 problems appeared with using
properties defined in /etc/virtualimage.propertie

The issue is variables that contain the double escapes for the
'<' and '>' characters.

Known variables that were effected were:
WCA_USERNAME
WCA_PASSWORD

  • Parsing variables out of the virtualimage.properties file
failed to work as expected.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
2.0.0.1 that fixes the variable parsing.
