Error description
PureApplication System System->Cloud->IP Groups Select IP group of interest. Add by Host name After added by hostname the IP is not showing up in the list of available IP addresses.
Local fix
As the workaround the recommendation is to only add IP Addresses using the IPv4 dotted notation.
Problem summary
When a hostanme was being used to add a new IP address to the system it was reverse DNS resolved but then not added to the list of IP adresses that were available on the system.
Problem conclusion
A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version 2.0.0.1 to include IP addresses that were added using their DNS reverse lookup hostname.
